Un-put-down-able!
This segment of the October Fall World Series is my favorite, after reading close to 20 of them. The character development was outstanding, the style of writing was intelligent and focused, and the level of detail just right to keep the reader engaged.
Not often is the second book even better than the first
I truly enjoyed the first book and was looking forward to the second, even though the first book of a series tends to be the best. I think the second book was even better. I couldn't put it down and finished it in less than 2 days. I can't wait for #3. If you haven't read the first book I would definitely do that first. This is a great series and worth your time.
My Favorite So Far
I've been reading and enjoying all the books written in the October Fall World as they come out. This one is my favorite in the spin-off stories so far. Fast paced action and characters you wish were your neighbors.

Excellent Series!
Loved this series! Character development was outstanding, plot lines flowed seamlessly, keeps you invested constantly and unable to put it down! The authors ability to emotionally gut punch you with his written words while at the same time making you laugh out loud is a rare talent these days. Keep writing and I'll keep reading! Another winner
Another gripping installment to the Jared Chronicles. Tippins does a great job weaving character, purpose, and plot. Love the development of Devon. Highly recommend and looking forward to more.

Outstanding
One of the best series in the post apocalyptic genre. The characters have evolved into a family. The author, drawing on professional experience, puts you in the battle. Those who have followed the series will be cheering as Devon becomes an important asset to the group and takes serious actions to help the group. If you have not read this series you are missing out on maybe the best post apoc series available. I am anxiously awaiting book 4!
My favorite post apocalyptic book series!
Couldn’t put it down. I can’t wait to see what happens next. Excellent flawed characters, realistic non stop action, sometimes raw and intense but lots of real life loyalty, friendship and compassion in the midst of a world that is nearly devoid of anything except survival. Tippins somehow manages to bring all these aspects artfully together. What an adventure!
Couldn't put it down!
A friend of mine suggested I give this a read. I am a big fan of Stephen King, Dean Koontz and Robert McCammon. This book took hold of me from the very first page! The author’s writing style and the ability to describe things in a way that the reader can clearly visualize and empathize with the characters and situations is refreshing and entertaining. This book is also a wake up call as I can see something like this actually happening. Makes you take stock of your own mindset, capabilities and readiness for any type of catastrophic event. I understand this is the author’s first book and that the second book is in the works. I am really looking forward to continue reading the Jared Chronicles and anything else the author puts on paper! Outstanding book but now what do I do that I finished it so fast? Keep em coming sir and thank you.
